Rock photographer Jill Furmanovsky returns to Barbican Music Library to present a photographic celebration of the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
This free Barbican Music Library exhibition is a collaboration between Abbey Road Studios and renowned rock photographer Jill Furmanovsky, looking at the past and present of the iconic studios.
Furmanovsky joined Abbey Road Studios as Artist in Residence in 2017, but has photographed artists and bands at the studio since 1975 when she worked with Pink Floyd during the Wish You Were Here recording sessions.
Jill Furmanovsky is known for her award-winning portraits of rock musicians, including Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Blondie, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Oasis and Bob Dylan. In 1998, she founded Rockarchive.com, which showcases work by the world’s top rock photographers.
